Checked Shirts are My Favourite Shirts

It's been a pretty rubbish Summer in England, so the cute shorts I was living in, in New York have unfortunately been put away and have been replaced with a trusty pair of jeans. White jeans are the perfect summer staple and I've had this pair from French Connection (similar here) for a number of years now and each year I pull them back out and just love the look that they give! Here I teamed them with this oversized check shirt from Topshop and accessorised with my usual favourites - Zara sandals (similar here), my classic Mulberry Bayswater in Oak, Dolce & Gabanna Sunglasses and Daniel Wellington Watch. I'm totally obsessed with the simplicity of this look - such an easy ensemble to throw on, go - and still look put-together!
