Bobbi Brown Buffing Grains

You know when you see a product, and it immediately gets you intrigued... Despite never hearing anything about it before (good or bad), well thats what I had when the Bobbi Brown Buffing Grains for the face caught my eye. It's true, I may have been tempted simply because of the packaging, as well as the concept of the product.

The buffing grains simply look like grains of sand, which you can mix with your cleanser or water to create a soft or hard exfoliation - dependent on your skin type. For me, I do feel I need only the smallest amount of the grains (a little goes a long way) with quite a bit of water, otherwise it can be slightly too abrasive as I have quite sensitive skin. But that's the great thing about this, you really can adjust it to your skins needs.

I put a small amount of the grains on the tips of my fingers and get warm water and rub the tips of my fingers together to get the consistency I want, when I've achieved this, I apply the exfoliator in circular motions to my face.

Although I do think the buffing grains are something you need to get used to, they're a great product to have in your collection, as I haven't come across anything else quite like them!

Have you tried these out? What's your opinion?

  2. I was really intrigued by your picture (I have never seen this before!). I tend to use exfoliating masks instead of scrubs but the concept is great. I like the fact your can adapt the quantity to your needs.
