Drug Store Beauty Haul

It has been a very long time since I last posted any kind of beauty post - so I have quite a few in the pipeline! But to be honest, theres no better way to get back into beauty products than by hitting the aisles of Boots to see whats on offer! This stash of products looks pretty tame for me - but I actually did go a little wild and purchased a fair few products from L'Oreal, I will be putting up a separate post on those bits!

I had been wanting to get my hands on this Una Brennan Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil as I'm totally obsessed with her Rose Hydrate Day Moisturiser. I've used The Body Shop's Camomile Cleansing Oil for well over a year now and still love it, I haven't found another drugstore product quite like it, but it's always nice to try something new, especially when her other products have all been so great! I will be sure to report back to you on how I get on with this!

I've said it before, I was never that fussed about the Bioderma Micellar Water. I mean, it did the job - nowhere near as quickly as my trusty cleansing oil - but it's okay and I use it from time to time when I don't have a clean flannel to hand. But I heard about Simple's new Micellar water and felt obliged to give it a try after hearing such great things - especially when I found it for just over £2 on special offer! So far, I am loving this and much prefer it to Bioderma - easier to get hold of and cheaper too!

Since using Soap & Glory's Archery Brow Pencil, I have tried the Anastasia Brow Wiz and a Milani Automatic Brow Pencil, both of which I loved. Having said that, Anastasia Brow Wiz is a slightly more expensive option (although better for it's wider colour range than S&G) and I can unfortunately no longer get Milani now I'm back in the UK. I loved S&G's Archery brow pencil and it is basically identical to the Brow Wiz, so when I saw it back on the shelves of Boots, I thought I'd have to make a repurchase!

Bourjois have recently brought out their Aqua Blush blushes - I'm a huge fan of creme based blushes so was intrigued to try this new formula, something I hadn't seen before. The product comes in a small pump bottle. Although this is great - and hygienic, I do find a small pump still gives too much product. Having said that, the blush itself is very buildable and leaves a beautiful dewy glow to the skin. I went for the coral shade, which is gorgeous for the Summer months!

I picked up two of Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry nail polishes. I find their nail varnishes dry really quickly and last extremely well given their price! I picked up the shades Eat my Dust (pale blue) and Full Throttle (orange), which I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear out of during the next couple of months!
