Ballet Slippers

The minute I saw this colour on my friends nails, I was in love. It looked so chic and sophisticated on, so of course I had to know what is was called and where from. Low and behold, the beautiful polish was Essie- Ballet Slippers. She'd told me they had discontinued it in Holland, so I was pretty concerned (as you can imagine), that I wouldn't be able to get my paws on it! 
Despite my concerns, Boots answered my prayers and had one bottle left on their shelves. Meant to be? I think so!  Although you need a few coats of the polish to make it opaque, once it's dried it looks slightly like a french manicure from a distance. I'm not one for french manicures anymore, but this... Ooh boy, I looove it! It is just too darn pretty! 
The longevity of this nail varnish is also pretty impressive. I have been wearing it for 5 days, and still no chips. I've not tried any Essie polishes before, so I'm pretty impressed with this! So now I'm on the look out for more colours!  What are your best Essie shades?
