Weekly Round-Up #15

Fifteen weeks down, how time is flying! After last weekend being a crazy busy one, I took things pretty easy and had a rather laid back weekend. As much as I want to make the most of my time here, down time is very much needed. My life is none-stop, so it's nice to have a little time to rest.

Having said that, we did do a spot of makeup shopping and of course, brunch! We went to a restaurant in the Jane Hotel called Cafe Gitane. The place was very cute but both food and service was quite disappointing. I went for the prosciutto and brie Sandwich, the best I can say is that it was fine!

On Saturday evening we went to see Pitch Perfect 2. I liked the first one but I wasn't as obsessed as I know many others are, but I laughed out loud at the second one. I would highly recommend this just for an easy watch!

Sunday was an even lazier day. Naps were even had! But we went into Brooklyn for dinner to a place called Cooklyn's, which has been recommended to me. The food was delicious, we both went for the Lobster Mac & Cheese. And we were even given wine and dessert on the house! Always a bonus! Safe to say the service was pretty great too!
My sister is coming next weekend, so hopefully I'll have much more to say for myself!
